critical thinking and observation
-Develop cognitive functioning and active learning.
-Learn, understand, and apply new vocabulary
(vanishing point, horizon line, foreground) and
elements of art (line and space)

3. Assessment Evidence
-If asked to locate the horizon line, vanishing point, or other terms pertaining to one-point perspective,
students will be able to tell and show where it is located on a chosen image
-After seeing examples and practicing one-point perspective on scratch paper using simple shapes, students
will use their own ideas to create a more detailed image using this technique
4. Opening Hook

Or, have a quick review competition by splitting the class into two groups and seeing who wins by answering
the most questions correctly.
