REVOLUTIONARY DISCOVERY HEALS PSYCHIATRIC DISORDERS

ElectRx is radically changing how humans heal with pulsating energy chips.
VANCOUVER, BC April 2, 2015 - The Brain Initiative Program of the Department of National
Defense has developed a micro device (ElectRX) that can heal post traumatic stress, anxiety and
depressive disorders. ElextRx was developed to help soldiers returning from battle with these
disorders and it has proved a great success. This is good news for the rest of Canadians as the FDA
approved device will be available to the general public as of April 2, 2015.
This tiny device is likened to an intelligent pacemaker but without the necessity of being connected
to technologies outside of the body. ElectRx is similar in size to that of a nerve fiber and is
administered by needle injection. Once the device is in place, it works to detect illness and responds
with electrical impulses to restore normal brain function.
ElectRx therapy is great news for patients who do not respond to other therapies or who suffer from
the side effects of chemical based medications. According to Dr. Dianne Jordan, of The Stanley
Center for Psychiatric Research, there is no empirical scientific data to prove that chemical-based
medications actually treat these psychiatric disorders; therefore, the brain scan results from the Brain
Initiative Program offer the first empirical data to support the healing qualities of a medically
administered psychiatric therapy.
The Brain Initiative program conducted pre-combat and post-combat CT scans of soldiers. Those
suffering from brain disorders post combat displayed atrophy in the frontal lobe area. However, after
electrically stimulating the brain in the effected areas, the consequent brain scans were comparable to
pre-combat brain scans. Patients were monitored five years following treatment and reported no side
effects.
The success of ElectRx means there will be radical changes in the way doctors diagnose and treat
illness in the future. For patients we will see a reduction of dependence on pharmaceutical drugs, and
most importantly, the healing of painful disorders that keep them from functioning in important areas
of their lives.

Psychiatric Medical Breakthrough
The mission of the Brain Initiative Program (BIP) is to foster, demonstrate, and transition
breakthrough fundamental research, discoveries, and applications that integrate biology, engineering,
and computer science for national security. BIP seeks to establish and invest in new communities of
scientific interest at the intersection of traditional and emerging disciplines. BIPs programs operate
across a wide range of scales, from individual cells to complex biological systems including
mammalian and non-mammalian organisms and the macro- and micro-environments in which they
operate.
