Direct mode of address

I made the models look directly in the camera, as it offers a direct
mode of address. This shows the importance of the audience as
they feel welcomed by the contact offered to them. This also
shows, that they are acknowledged by
the magazine.
Eye contact, draws the audience to the magazine as it makes them
fell uneasy
intimidating. This makes the audience feel like they should by the
magazine as
they share a form of connection with the models.
Eye contact, is on both the double page spread and the front cover,
keeping the form of connection with the audience throughout the
magazine. As there is writing across these pages, the audience
may find it hard to focus on the models, but will not as they already
have a connection with the models through eye contact as a direct
mode of address.

Contents page
On the contents page, the audience are addressed here through writing
to the magazines and keeping in contact with them.
They attract the audience, by showing the quarterly horoscopes. As
horoscopes are popular with young people, this will persuade the to buy
a magazine with horoscopes
in them.
Them magazine will attract an audience of an older age, as it also has
quizzes in
them, which interest the older generation.
