I think the professors response to the card he had been dealt was
pretty amazing. He took his situation and instead of giving up he used the
situation as a learning experience for himself and a teaching experience for
his students, audience, and family. When listening to some of the points he
was discussing, it made me think about myself and if I am guilty of some
things. For example, complaining. Its always east to complain about things
that are going on, but the people who work hard to change them are doing
the right thing. Thats what I took away from this video. He was taking his
situation and trying to show people sometimes that life is just too short to let
problems and obstacles ruin your life.
