Brief introduction for the experiment (concept, principles)
Application of experiment
Pertinent Equations/ formulas
III. Methodology
Materials used (reagent, apparatus)
Methodology (in past participle form)
Avoid using you, we, I
Can be in numbered form
IV. Results and Discussion (3- 6 pages)
Added Tables and Figures (if there are any) should be properly titled
i. Tables title is on top of table
ii. Figures/Graphs/Pictures title is below the graph/figure/picture
Explain data and results gathered. Use the postlab questions as guide for discussion. DO NOT ANSWER the
postlab questions as they are written in the report forms. Write in
paragraphs. Exercise writing with good flow of thoughts and coherence in topics.
Analysis and interpretation of the results based from the principles of the topic
Comparison with the theoretical values
Reporting of % error
Include in the discussion, the realization of experiments, possible sources of errors if there are any and discuss if
the objectives were met.
