We think that the histogram is better because it has more detail than the frequency table.

Question: The ideal weight of half the dogs is at least how many pounds?
How to solve: I would add all the weights of half the dogs up to get the answer.
A box-and-whisker chart would not work for this problem because it would not be able to
show the sum of the weights.

Why are we not using a line graph


We would not use a line graph because a line graph is showing time. We are not
showing time, and a line graph would show how heavy the dogs get over time.
