Jacques has had a successful first practicum. He brings a great deal of dedication to his role as teacher. He
is friendly, approachable, and has a great work ethic. He taught grade 11 and 12 university physics with a
good measurement of success. His lesson plans were always well thought out and he provided a good range
of teaching strategies such as demonstrations, videos, and board work.
Jacques identifies both short term specific learning expecatations as well as long term unit expectations.
Jacques developed a good rapport with his students and encouraged them to be successful.
Jacques will continue to explore ways to establish his presence in the classroom through voice, gestures and
enthusiasm. Jacques will continue to work on ways to deliver the content of his lesson plans in a direct and
simplified manner. You have made great strides in the area Jacques - keep up the good work.
Jacques will be an excellent teacher. Good luck and all the best in your next practicum.
