I have been working for almost four year in the Information Technology

industry, fulfilling numerous roles on web development projects with a

worldwide scope. The roles that I have performed include Requirement
gathering, Analysis, Development, Deployment, Documentation, and Level 3
Support. As a professional web developer, i have an ability to understand,
analyze and improve the existing software web development techniques.
So in this course, I would like to study in depth about the various techniques
involved in designing and developing rich internet applications, e-commerce
websites and web semantics.
Throughout my research I want to find out the answer for the following
questions.
1 What is semantic web and what are the concepts available in semantic
web design/development?
2 What are the techniques available in designing and developing rich
internet applications, e-commerce websites and semantic web?
3 What are all the problems available in designing and developing rich
internet applications, e-commerce websites and semantic web?
4 What are the new concepts that can be implemented to enhance the
efficiency of semantic web design and development?
5 How to increase the efficiency of sematic web in terms of quality,
security, usability... etc.?

In would like to complete this research project on my own, under the

guidance of professors in this university. To find the information about my
topic and to learn the answers to my research questions, I plan to read,
analyze and compare various concepts available in web technology and
previous research papers in the stream of web technology with the help of
doctorates, senior research scholars available in this university and web
designers, web developers and other technical people available in software
organization. If needed, i will also refer internet and books from the
university library/public library to locate the additional information.
