Briefly describe what will happen during the SRS Activity (For example:
What will students do? What will teacher do? What materials are needed? How
long will the SRS activity take?):
The students have an option of six different study modes.
1) There is a scatter mode where students will have pictures of the Americans
who expanded people's rights and freedom in democracy and the name of the
American. They have to match the picture and name to win!
2) There is a learn mode where students are given the action that an American
did and have to write out the person who did that action
3) There is a flashcard mode where students are given the action an American did
on one side of the card. The other side of the card displays a picture of the
American and action that correlates to their person.

4) There is a space race mode where students destroy the scolling word by typing
in their corresponding term and pressing enter.
5) There is a speller mode where the computer says the Americans name and you
have to type what you hear.
6) There is a test mode that allows the students to test themselves. This test
mode includes written , multiple choice, true/ false, and Matching.

Longer open-ended response
Provide samples of questions/prompts to be given to students:
Below is the Quizlet, which has all six modes that you can view.
Right/Wrong Answers: Will there be right/wrong answers to these questions? :
Yes
No
Mixed (Some will have correct answers, others will not.)
Immediate Corrective Feedback:
Will you pre-select correct answers to some or all of the questions and display the
correct response to the class after the SRS activity?
Yes
No
Why or why not? With Quizlet, the system allows you to get the correct answer
before moving on to the next question.
Use of Data: What data will be collected as a result of this activity. How will it be
used and by whom? (For example: Will information collected from this activity be
used to award a grade? Will the individual information collected be shared with
students and/or parents to help them monitor individual progress? Will you
discuss the aggregate, anonymous data with the whole class to help them learn?
Will you use data to differentiate instruction for students? If so, describe how. )
This information collected from this activity won't be used to award a grade, but
will show the teacher who stuided. Because there will be a quiz after the students
have did their flipped classroom on it. If teachers buys the classroom
superpowers then the teacher wll have access to see which words or concepts
your students are struggling with the most. See everyone who has stuided your
set, and with the Quizlet classes, see how they stuided. Compare study data from
the past day, week, and year. After the first flipped classroom i will show my
students that i have access to everytime they logged on and studied. If a child is
doing poorly because they aren't studying and the mother wants to know wht the
teacher can easily pull the information on the child and show that that child isn't
doing their flipped classwork. Which is cauing them to fail the quizzes.
Describe what will occur after the SRS activity: After the Quizlet activity, I
will give them a quiz. They should be able to pass this quiz if they did the flipped
classwork, which is the Quizlet lesson.
Describe your personal learning goal for this activity. (For example: What
are you trying that you have not tried before? What do you hope to learn from
this activity? How do you hope it will help students learn? You must design
something that will help you learn something new! Honor System!) I am trying a
2

website that give different methods of studying. This will be beneficial because if
a child doesn't learn the best by looking and studying flashcards, there are five
other methods that child can do. I hope that my children will learn who and which
American expanded people's right and freedom in democracy.
Other comments about your SRS Activity (optional): Buing the classroom
superpowers is only $25.00 a year and it give you so much needed information
and statistics on your students.
