I am confident that by applying my skills, knowledge, experience, and my ability to
provide patient/family centered care I would make an excellent member of your team.
My previous experiences, further described in my enclosed resume, are a good indicator
of my abilities to perform holistic patient and family care; taking care of the patients
family is as important as taking care of the patient. Having to experience home care made
it easier for me to identify the needs of both parties, evaluate the entire situation, make a
plan that would involve both patient and the family, implement evidence based
information and evaluate the effectiveness of the outcome.
I learned that the evaluation is a good indicator of either the progress made or the need
for another plan. The quality of both patient and the familys health are very important, as
they are strongly dependent on each other.
My fluency in English, Italian and Albanian helps me communicate with a wider
clientele. Furthermore, by living in Canada, Italy and Albania for many years, I came to
interact with those populations culture, believes, self and health concept, traditions and
ethics.
