To whom it may concern,
Ive decided to respond to your advertisement for a new mobile app developer in
the Lansing State Journal by sending you a copy of my rsum for you to review, in
hopes that you consider me for an interview.
In the past Ive work only physical labor jobs, working in the shipping department of
a poster service. Pre-dating that Ive mowed lawns and shoveled snow for my
neighbors, managing the pricing of the services myself. I believe I am eligible for
this job because Ive developed programs and web pages for several classes and as
hobbies. Specifically, Ive used HTML5, Python, and C#; Im currently in a class at
Lansing Community College learning these programming methods in depth. Last
year, I attended LCC for the first time, taking the Computer Support class which
trains for the CompTIA A+ certification test. I am also proficient in many appropriate
soft skills such as public speaking, listening to authority figures and peers, and
decision making. I believe all of these skills are applicable to the available position,
as well as many other general positions.
