Vision Statement:
I seek that students learn about the importance about the giving of oneself.
The Holiday Cards for Heroes activity allows students to write a Christmas card to
a soldier who is in need of emotional support during this Christmas season.
This meeting is, also, meant to uplift the Christmas spirit of the CASLR office
through friendly competition, interaction, and novelty.
I hope that this small distraction from everyones responsibilities through
the use of holiday activities and potential prizes can make this a reality. They, also,
will have time to reflect and learn more about fun American culture facts of the fall
season.
Furthermore, the staff meeting will encourage the idea of giving to others
during the Prayer/Praise requests and prayer time, white elephant gift exchange,
and the crafts activity. Lifting up the Christmas spirit will be mostly supported by
having a Charades game and giving prizes for the winners.
