he Curse of the Tattered Sausage

A Horror Story

Whilst investigating the death of a local computer programmer, a generous author
called Christian Barker uncovers a legend about a supernaturally-cursed, tatter
ed sausage circulating throughout Africa. As soon as anyone uses the sausage, he
or she has exactly 8 days left to live.
The doomed few appear to be ordinary people during day to day life, but when pho
tographed, they look upside-down. A marked person feels like a wobbly badger to
touch.
Christian gets hold of the sausage, refusing to believe the superstition. A coll
age of images flash into his mind: a happy rabbit balancing on a giant computer
programmer, an old newspaper headline about a dancing accident, a hooded hamster
ranting about ankles and a drinking well located in a sunny place.
When Christian notices his abs have badger-like properties, he realises that the
curse of the tattered sausage is true and calls in his daughter, a author calle
d Una Ball, to help.
Una examines the sausage and willingly submits herself to the curse. She finds t
hat the same visions flash before his eyes. She finds the happy rabbit balancing
on a giant computer programmer particularly chilling. She joins the queue for a
supernatural death.
Christian and Una pursue a quest to uncover the meaning of the visions, starting
with a search for the hooded hamster. Will they be able to stop the curse befor
e their time is up?
