Welcome to Aprilor as its known in Alberta second winter. We only have two days in April before we
break for Easter. Hopefully we will come back to some green grass and consistent warm weather.
We continue our journey through Lent with prayer, fasting and almsgiving. Our long journey culminates in
the Easter Triduum. These three days draw us into the mystery of our salvation. Each morning, we can
pause to acknowledge the meaning of the day ahead. Each night, we can give thanks. St. Teresa will have
our Holy Thursday celebration on Thursday April 2nd at 1:00 pm. Everyone is welcome to join us.
Some other important dates for the month of April:
We will be off for Easter break from Friday, April 3rd until Sunday, April 12th. Classes resume Monday
April 13th.
Our next Parent Council Meeting will be on Monday, April 20th at 6:30 pm in room 108. All parents are
welcome to join us.
No School Monday, April 27th. This is a division professional development day.
April Bucket Filler for Jesus awards will be on, April 20th. It is Super Hero Day!!!
Please check our calendar for other important dates in April.

Urgent
When we return from Easter break, we will be sending home intention forms for next year. We
would ask that you fill out the forms and return them as soon as possible indicating if your child will
be returning to St. Teresa School for the 2015 - 2016 school year. This information is very important as we make staffing decisions.
St. Teresa will be undergoing some construction as spring approaches. Prep work will begin in late April or
May for four new portable classrooms that will be added for next year. The ground needs to be excavated
and a hallway extension needs to be added. We also hope to see the start of construction on our new dropand-go area. It should be ready for the start of the 2015-2016 school year [knock on wood].
As we break for Easter, we wish all our families a safe and restful holiday. Over the Easter weekend, we
walk with Jesus to His death on the cross and celebrate the joy of His resurrection on Easter Sunday.

May God Bless You,

May God Bless You,

Rob Maloughney
