Triggers & Setting

Events to be Modified

Based on information from the FBA, the function of the students behavior is to avoid
tasks/demands.
Some triggers for the students behavior are: academic requests, being overwhelmed, being
frustrated/angry, or conflict outside the classroom with adults or peers.
From 11:15am-11:35am, the student will be pulled out of his general education classroom to
review his planner each day. The student will be held accountable for his goals via his
behavior contract. The goals and task completion will be discussed when the student is pulled
out.
The student has a task completion chart. For each task completed throughout the day, he can
earn 2 minutes of computer time. He can earn 12 minutes per day if he completes all of his
work. Also, if the student reaches his goals each day, he can earn the reward of assisting a first
grade teacher.
