To Whom It May Concern,
This letter addresses my strong interest in submitting an application for the Registered Radiologic
Technologist position at Intermountain Medical Center, Murray. I am currently completing over fourteen
hundred clinical hours as part of my education at Dixie State University. I will graduate from the DSU
Medical Radiography program in May 2015. I expect to obtain my ARRT-Registered Radiologic
Technologist Utah Occupational & Professional License by June 2015. I will be relocating to Salt Lake
City by June 2015 unless an earlier job opportunity is offered.
I am proficient with many diverse imaging environments including Insta-care, orthopedic and
outlying community hospital centers. I am able to adapt quickly regarding equipment, procedure and
protocol changes. Currently I work with CR and DR systems and am confident with them both. I have
experienced and gained competence in fluoroscopy, pediatrics, geriatrics, fixed and mobile radiography,
orthopedic imaging, and trauma cases. I am confident in exemplary patient care, radiation protection, and
critical thinking skills. I am committed to being a strong and improving member and believe I would be a
great fit for this position. I also have two years of clinical experience
I displayed leadership in the radiography program by creating and becoming president of the
Dixie State University Radiologic Technology Association Club. My duties enabled me to become
proficient in planning, advocating, delegating and taking initiative in community service, educational, and
professional work. A highlight was presenting a bill request for additional funding to attend a national
radiography ACERT Conference. I was awarded the DSU Radiography Student of the Semester Fall 2014
for my strength in clinic, didactic work and leadership.
I pride myself in excellent work ethic, dependability, interpersonal communication, honesty,
flexibility, and positive attitude. Please consider my qualifications and interpersonal skills when
considering a candidate for this position. Please contact me at any time at the number or email provided
above for further information regarding me and what I have to offer as a future member of your team. I
will be in Salt Lake on the week of April 20th, 2015 and would welcome the opportunity to meet you.
Your consideration is greatly appreciated.
Thank you and I look forward to speaking with you soon,
Courtney Nance
