Good Morning Staff,

As most of you know I am currently in the clinical internship portion of


my Masters of Public Administration program at University of Michigan
Flint. During the internship I have course expectations and
responsibilities I must fulfil before I complete the program. One of the
competencies/standards I choose to incorporate into my experience
was that of developing knowledge on staff relations.
As educators we know how important it is that we work together to
create common goals and strive to improve the quality of education for
our students. An intricate part of the process are the services we
provide our students and families along with the connections we
develop. As I have grown as professional here at Lutz one of the areas
of interest for me has been Michigan Rehabilitation Services (MRS) and
their potential impact on our students. I was recently able to sit in on
meeting that discussed our students progress in the soft skills
program offered by the Arc of Macomb County through MRS. Skills and
services our students are learning in the program resembled many
things we do here at Lutz and continue to be areas of need for our
students to gain employment.
To help examine the impact of Michigan Rehabilitation Services, I would
appreciate your response to serval questions or statements. The rating
scale is as follows.
1 Represents NO concern or NO interest in the topic or area specified
in the statement/question.
2 Represents a low level of concern or interest in the topic or area
specified. For instance, in question one you could circle 2 if you had a
low level of concern on your ability to work with your students supports
coordinator. Therefore you feel confident in your abilities and may not
necessarily need support in this area.
3- Represents a Neutral level of concern or interest. You may circle 3 if

Your responses will remain private and will only be for me to develop
professionally and grow as an educator. I will be reflecting on the
process I took to develop the survey and how I may use the responses
