English language. Scholars have come to know these letters as
the tetragrammaton or the four lettered Name.
The most accurate transliteration of this Name in English is
rendered YaHuWaH (YahuwAh). In older English translations
such as the 1611 King James Version the name was
transliterated in a hand full of places as Iehouah which would
later become known as Jehovah. The majority of scholarly
sources agree that Jehovah and Yehovah are indeed
inaccurate.
The Hebrew scriptures command us to Qara (call upon, preach and pronounce) The Name! In fact we see that calling on the Name is
our direct link to redemption and salvation!
