About Lori Klein

Lori Klein owns a consulting firm (Lori Klein & Assoc.) specializing in fund-
raising for non-profit issue advocacy and projects that advance limited
government. For more than 30 years, she has worked on Republican and
conservative causes, first in Washington, D.C., then ultimately in Arizona.

Arizona voters may not all know Lori’s name, but they recognize the work that she has
done. She worked as the Executive Director and then Director of Public Affairs for Arizona
School Choice Trust in 1998 and served for six years as Chairman of the Advisory Board.

Ms. Klein was National Director of Development for Americans for Fair Taxation
from 2002 – 2006. Perhaps what voters will remember best is her work as Executive
Director and spokesperson for Proposition 207 which was passed by 65% of Arizona voters in 2006.
Prop 207 provided protection to private property owners from government takings by eminent domain
or excessive regulations, giving Arizona the strongest private property rights in the nation.

In 2008, she served as the Executive Director and Director of Development for Medical Choice for Arizona
(Prop 101) which was defeated by a little over 8,000 votes of the 2.1 million votes cast in 2008. Those efforts
to protect Arizonans from socialized medicine will again be on the ballot this Novemeber, and Lori is again
hard at work on its behalf.

Ms. Klein has served the GOP as a Precinct Committeeman and she was a member of the Ponderosa
Republican Women. She is also a former board member of the Arizona Federation of Taxpayers
(now Americans for Prosperity) and she sits on the board of Arizonans in Action, a
leading statewide grassroots limited government organization that advocates for education
reform, and government transparency and accountability, among other issues.
