On 4/13/15 at approximately 10:39 PM, officers responded to the parking lot in front of 499
Cabarrus Arms Drive in reference to a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Mr.
Samuel Smith sitting in the drivers seat of a white Chevrolet with multiple gunshot wounds. Mr.
Smith was initially transported to CMC Northeast and then to CMC Main where he is still
receiving care for his injuries.
Witnesses stated they observed a black Ford Crown Victoria pull up next to the vehicle Mr.
Smith was sitting in. An unknown black male exited the Crown Victoria and then fired multiple
shots at Mr. Smith. The unknown male got back into the vehicle and left the area with Cierra
Roseboro who is pictured above.
Based on information obtained during this investigation, a warrant for arrest was obtained on
Cierra Roseboro for Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury.
The alleged shooter who has yet to be identified remains at large.
