Parents of teens are important for their teens religious

life. Statistics show that when a parent is committed to
a religion so is the teen. (Soul Searching by Melinda Lundquist Denton pg 115-116)

In the second place, once the people have learned the

text well, then teach them to understand it, too, so
they know what it means. (The Book of Concord pg 349)

Likewise you must emphasize the Forth Commandment

to children and the common people, so that they are
orderly, faithful, obedient, and peaceful. (The Book of Concord pg 349)

What does the Bible have to

say to teens?
1 Timothy 4:12 Let no one despise you for your
youth, but set the believers an example in
speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.

Ecclesiastes 12:1 Remember also your Creator

in the days of your youth, before the evil days
come and the years draw near of which you
will say, I have no pleasure in them

Jeremiah 29:11For I know the plans I have for

you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you
and not to harm you, plans to give you hope
and a future.

to say to adults?
Hebrews 13:7 Remember your leaders, those
who spoke to you the word of God. Consider
the outcome of their way of life, and imitate
their faith.
