Number:
Number: Using addition with numbers 1-10 to form equal groups. Children will be exposed to solving simple practical addition
problems, i.e. If your car has 2 people sitting at the back and 2 people sitting in the front, how many people can your car
carry? The students will then show this understanding by drawing pictures.
Tally Chart: We will review the concept of recording using Tally Chart through the objects that we have in the classroom.

As this week is only short, we will be focusing on one aspect of being safe when using the roads and that is Pedestrian
Safety. We will be exposing them to a new range of vocabulary that relates to this theme such as vehicles, pedestrians,
zebra crossings, corners etc. They will go on a mini field trip to An Phu Supermarket and will be watching and drawing the
scene they see. This will serve two purposes; it will give us an opportunity to discuss what they see as well as talk about who
they share the road environment with. As they walk to and from school we will be constantly reinforcing how to do this in a
safe manner. In Art and Craft, we will be designing our own cars and safety signs to add to our UOI wall.
