The teacher checks the homework. They had to
write in their copybooks ex. 13 pg. 167, ex. 2 pg.
62 Discussion point, and to retell the text from pg.

II. Preparation.
The teacher announces the topic of the lesson
After Twenty Years. The pupils write the date and
the theme in copybooks. The teacher directs them
to the ex.1 Discussion Point at pg.65. There is a
story they have to read and say who the writer is.
III. Realization of meaning.
Pre-reading.
The teacher directs the pupils to the ex. 1 at pg. 65
Reading. They have to make the predictions about
the text.
While-reading.
Then the teacher directs the pupils to the text After
Twenty Years. The Pupils are divided into 4 groups
and they should read and summarize the text.
Post- reading.
The teacher asks them if their predictions were

The teacher asks the pupils if everything is clear,
pupils share opinions, make conclusions, express
likes and dislikes.
V. Assessment.
The teacher gives necessary explanations and gives
marks to the pupils.
VI. Homework.
The teacher gives the homework. P.67 Writing.

to the story, to retell the text and to learn the new
words.
