General Notes
This plan covers the partial removal of the SR41 0/42
fJridge.
A Sitf SpecifiC Safety Pion (SSSP} has been prepofl!d for
this pro]f!CI by Highmork Concrete Conlroclors (HCC). .AJI
Stolon employees will follow the HC SSSP, OSHA Rules &
Regulations, and Staron Componios' Safety Proqrom.
.AJI tmployees wr11 attend a daily safely loHgote meeting.
Acti1ies, hazards, accident prevention, and en'drcnmef11ol
protection issues wl1/ be discussed each day. for that day.
Utilities will be disconnected or removed by the prime
contractor prior to demolib'on.
l<ppropriote traffic and pedestrian barriers will be installed
by the prime contractor to prevent occidental access to
the demolition work area.
DemoHtion equipment will be coordinated with the prime
contractor and staged near the work area.

The bridge will be systematk.a/ly disas:;embled by sow

cutting & picking operations and by COfiVenb'onally

Material Handling
.AJI debns will be source separated into 2 waste
streams. The 2 waste streams, steel & concrete, will
be handled on the ground and sorted for recycling and
disposal.
All demolition material will be processed down to
manageable size as demolition progresses.
Waste streams will be loaded into Staton trucks utilizing
hydraulic excavators and transported to a designated
recycle or disposal facility.
