abuse and neglect are 59% more likely to be arrested as a juvenile, 28% more likely to be arrested as an adult, and 30% more likely to commit violence crime. Do you really want that for our society? Child abuse is one of the most despicable
Did you know? More than 4 children die from child abuse and neglect on a daily basis. Over 70% of these children
crimes in the world, in my opinion. Why
would you want to harm a young, innocent child? No matter what he or she has done,
they do not deserve to be abused. There is
a thin but clear, definite line between punishment and abuse; spanking and put in a time-out chair or corner is suitable discipline, but beating a child with a cord, slamming them into walls, burning them with cigarettes, or even worse is ABUSE and nothing but ABUSE. Children deserve to live childhoods in peace and harmony. Infants should live in a world of happiness and love, not in a world filled with hurt and shame. Sedalk, who is a representative for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, reported that At least 1.25 million children in the United States experienced child maltreatment in 2005-2006 ( 2010). Victims of child maltreatment are at high risk for a causing the same harm and trauma that was made to them to their future children and generations. Child abuse causes chronic health problems, mental health issues, developmental delays, poor educational well-being, and future involvement with the criminal justice system. The injuries and contrary outcomes associated with child maltreatment underscore the importance of identifying effective and cost-effective prevention strategies.
Child abuse needs to stop! No need for the beating, harmful
words, and the dark bruises. Abusing is always illegal either it is child, or it is adult. It is more severe because children do not have the capacity to fight against the abuse. They dont have that strength and are afraid to tell anyone because they are threaten by the abuser. If the police found out that your parents are abusing you, they will first give them a notice not to abuse you. If the abuse kept going, then law enforcer will take action against your parents and you will be sent to child care center under government supervision, where the child will then be placed under a foster home or put up for adoption. Child abuse is a never ending cycle. It takes a very strong person to stop that cycle. Someone smart enough to know what is right and what is wrong. Someone smart enough to know that no child, as helpless as they are, deserve to be treated like dirt under someones shoe. Whoever abuses any child should be sent to jail or placed in a mental facility.
