ADVERTISEMENT PRODUCTION FINAL PROJECT

Scenario:

You are part of a production company looking to promote a service or product to a

mainstream TV and Internet based audience. You must show evidence of your
understanding into how adverts work by:

Planning an advert using pre-production techniques

Producing an advert intended for TV or Internet relating to a product or
service of your choice
Critically evaluating your production

Task 1:

Make a plan to produce a high-quality advert suitable for TV or Internet. This is your
opportunity to show off all the skills which you have developed in the field of
advertising to the highest standard you can produce. You will then produce this
advert. Your plan will need the following documentation:

1. Actor's Info, Crew Info, Location Info, Prop Info, Contracts (Actor's Release, Location
Release)
2. Script
3. Shot List
4. Storyboard
5. Floor Plan
6. Scheduling
7. Shooting Script
8. Visual References
9. Revised Pages/Old Script Ideas
10. Equipment List
11. Miscellaneous Information
12. Your Info

Summary: Plan an advertising production to a near-professional standard, then implement

your plan by making a high-quality video advert.

Task 2:

Evaluate your production process. Describe how well the workflow went. You will need to
explore the implications of feedback from members of your target audience, professionals
(i.e. tutors) and your colleagues (other students reviews/comments on your work). You will
need to compare your work with similar professional work in the genre or format you are
working in.

Summary: Evaluate your work to a near-professional standard.

ALL WORK TO BE PLACED ON YOUR BLOGS.

Visual References
The river Thames will be used as it is the perfect scenery and a wonderful
place.

That boat I have chosen does relate to this boat and is similar size and
shape.

This is a similar place that the boat will be filmed at as it is a beautiful

place and perfect for advertising luxury.
