Inquiry Proposal

For my exploratory essay, I have decided that I will continue with

the topic that I originally used; Creation vs. Evolution. There are very
specific inquiry questions that I am going to include in my essay, I
basically have already provided some in the beginning of my essay but
here are some even more questions that are specific: Why are there no
factual evidence of creationism? How come evolution points to the
beginning of mankind? These are the main questions that I plan on
answering in my inquiry paper. The reason why I have chosen these
two questions is because they both relate and they both were
questions that I have wondered about and sparked my interest in this
topic. I have many sources that I could look through in order to feed
information into my paper such as Bill Nyes famous book,
Undeniable: Evolution and the Science of Creation or Richard
Dawkins The Greatest Show on Earth: The Evidence for Evolution.
There are many credible sources that I can use off the World Wide Web
as well. I have already explored through many pages of Google
searches and found many .org sites and many credible libraries with a
vast amount of information on my topic. I dont believe I will have any
trouble finding any credible/good sources to use in my paper.

I have a good idea of what the preliminary outline for my paper
will look like, I hope to begin the essay with this history of the faith in a
god and how it has shaped society. For this paper, I really want to
explore more about my topic because I think it has the possibility of
shaping a different view of life for myself. I personally dont believe in
any god and think it is more logical to favor science over faith,
regardless of what any holy book says. I believe that evolution is more
likely to be accepted to those who understand it instead of those who
dont because they have grown up learning about the existence of a
higher being and heaven or hell.
