Orchestrated poetry slams in three English 11 classes and participated in the national Poetry Out
Loud competition, sending one student to represent Williamston in the state finals
Employed a variety of media to facilitate dialogic instruction, including creating a new website for
Creative Writing where students could access model short stories, assignments, rubrics, and
