SPECIFIC QUALIFICATION
1.

The homeowner are chosen based on the level of their needs, their
willingness to become partner, and their ability to repay the loan.
2. House too small and not enough bedrooms
3. Unsafe
4. Their rent of their house is unaffordable
5. Have permanent residency in their country.
6. They must not have owned a house before (some exclusions may apply).
7. They must be willing to join in training programs for budget advice and
home maintenance.
8. They work a minimum 500 hours of 'Sweat Equity' per family on your
home and the homes of others.
9. Selected families will be required to pay a tenancy bond of four weeks
rent before moving into the house.
10. We will verify employment/benefits and bank accounts; current and
previous landlords and we may do credit and police checks.

The labor of volunteers and partner
families, efficient building methods,
modest house sizes and no-profit,
inflation-adjusted, no-interest loans make
it affordable for low-income people
around the world to purchase a Habitat
for Humanity house.
