Militarism is the belief that

a country should have a
stockpile of arms and a
strong military.

Countries had tanks and

other military vehicles that
they were willing to use.

This contributed to the

start of WWI by each
country having a strong
military and the belief that
they could use it for
national interests.

Other war machines

such as artillery was
stockpiled as well and
played a big part in
the destruction of
land.
