TEDxProject Analytical Writing Assignment

Once you have been officially assigned your TED Talks, select the order you wish to analyze
them. Each Monday you will submit one written analysis for one of the TED Talks you are
looking at. Check the calendar on the wiki to see the complete time line for the project.
Task
Each of your written submissions will be graded individually based on the following criteria:

1. Clear introductory paragraph with thesis. This only needs to be a couple of sentences in
length.
2. 2-3 body paragraphs with a minimum of 8 sentences each.
one paragraph should summarize the Talk
at least one paragraph will express your opinion on the talk, looking at the
argument presented, the delivery skills, and persuasiveness of the Talk
3. Clear conclusion and recommendation. This only needs to be a few sentences in length.
The writing will be assessed based on writing style/voice, grammar, and ability to persuade.
