This chapter was entitled Software for Teacher Tasks and it discussed many topics many

software that teachers may use. I never knew many of these softwares such as productivity
software. This type was originally designed for businesses but it was equally useful for
educators. Once installed on a network, then it works on a all the computers under the network.
What I did know about this chapter was the Word Processing software. This is has
replaced the typewriters through the editing features alone. It includes desktop publishing and
other reference tools to help develop work. I am also very familiar with spreadsheets. This is the
numerical database that enables you to compute formulas throughout the document.
I would integrate this into my classroom through utilizing the district appointed software
with my classroom technology. This software could prove useful by helping me keep with grades
and stay on top of my lesson plan. I will also recommend the multiple discussed softwares to my
students and have them do projects for homework and other assignments.
