also building up its forces along its border with Ukraine. With the addition of the
forces in Russia this gives Russia its largest presence on the border since October
2014. A lot more than 6,000 people have been killed since the fighting first started
in Eastern Ukraine more than a year ago. In the more recent weeks the fighting has
been aggravated. Moscow was also shipping heavy weapons into eastern Ukraine and
Russian separatist forces were controlling complicated training in the agitated eastern
part of the country. Russia has denied in the past sending soldiers and weapons to
the pro Russian rebels. The fighting has been getting worse in the eastern part of
the Ukraine. They signed a ceasefire because they wanted all of the violence to stop.

I think they needed a little time without all of the fighting and they wanted to
try and make it more peaceful in eastern Ukraine. They shouldnt bring any more
weapons into that country or anymore forces. I think bringing more is just making it
worse because its causing fights. Many people have died because of this and its not
fair to the people who come from there. I disagree with everything that they are
doing because its not helping at all. Even though they tried to stop the violence it
didnt work.

Russian tanks and soldiers have been settling an issue and producing a definite
result by winning important battles against government troops in eastern Ukraine. Mr.
Sapozhnikov is a Russian from St. Petersburg who is back in his home town after he
went to fight in the Ukraine in October and led a whole group of Special Forces
fighter under rebel control. He said that all of the operations especially large scale
ones are led by Russian officer, by Russian Generals. They develop plans together
with our commands... And they we fulfil the orders. This man was involved in some
of the wars that they had in Ukraine. He said that when they were stuck in some
kind of situation where they could not win the fights they were taking part in, theyre
tanks would come help them, and they were Russian tanks. Because of the Russian
tanks and weaponry theyre able to take their positions a lot faster. They thought
they werent going to be able to get out of some of the situations they were in but
they did. The Russians did a lot to help them.

Reaction:
I think that its good that the Russian government is able to help the troops
that voluntarily go to Ukraine to fight. Its not a very good thing that they have to
go that but at least they are able to get the help they need. They did have a
ceasefire and I think that also helped for a little while.
