Fix to run Cisco Configuration Professional in Internet Explorer 10

This document describes how to fix Internet Explorer (IE) 10 to run Cisco Configuration Professional (CCP).
With the release of IE10 Microsoft have moved to a more standards based browser which in turn has broken CCP
from running correctly as can be shown in the image below where it only partially shows in the top section of the
window.

There are two options that can be used to fix this either on a permanent basis or a per session basis.

Option 1: Permanent solution

1. With IE open press the Alt key to bring up the menu bar

2. Select Tools > Compatibility View Settings

3. Type 127.0.0.1 in the Add this website: section and click the Add button to add localhost to the websites for
compatibility view

4. If browsing history is set to be deleted on browser exit, change the settings to not delete history and change
the days to keep history to 0 to keep the list clean. Otherwise the fix will be removed when IE10 is closed.

Option 2: Per session solution

1. With CCP started, press the F12 key to bring up the Developer Tools
