Faculty instructions to set up assignment

Create an assignment and entitle it i-pad video procedure or video recording instructions
under desired course assignment
Under tab Assignment Group choose Assignment
Under tab Display Grade choose Complete/Incomplete
Under tab Submission type choose Media Recording

Use these instructions to cut and paste in a Canvas Announcement or Assignment for UCF
Nursing Students

1. Use the UCF nursing lab i-pad and click on Canvas by Instructure app
2. Choose UCF under school list
3. Log in on UCF home page using your UCF login NID and Password
4. Select course with video assignment
5. Click on assignment and click on submit assignment
6. Choose tab named "media", then record/ upload media option
7. Allow camera and microphone access
8. Hit record when ready, view result and re-record as often as needed
9. Once satisfied, choose submit assignment
10. As with most assignments, the re-submit option is available while the assignment
remains open.

* When using the UCF nursing lab i-pads, make sure there is a Canvas-by- Instructure
application installed with onsite wifi capability.
