World War 2 Culminating Assignment


CHC2D1 Canadian History since World War 1
We live in a time dominated by technology and entertainment. Students are often
disengaged with seat-work and reading. It is your job to fix it!
Your task is to create a proposal for a video game or movie that aims to educate an
audience about the historical events of World War II. Your game must be told using the perspective
of a Canadian in World War II. It is your job to accurately depict this Canadians personal and
emotional journey while providing a correct narrative of what happened in the events he
participated in. Your audience should experience the War through your game/movie.
Think about: What battles would a Canadian soldier participate in? What is his role (A SOLDIER, A
SAILOR, A PILOT)?
You are to complete this assignment in a booklet format:
