What is Technology?

Technology is an application of scientific knowledge, and is a collection of

tools, used to help humans with practical purposes in the industry, such as
engineering, and is useful and constructive to everyday people, including me!
Overtime, technology constantly keeps advancing and improving, so it can meet
and achieve our daily needs of what we have to accomplish and put together.
Theres a vast history of where technology started, from the beginning of the
Digital Revolution and the introduction to computers, phones ( allows humans to
interact and communicate freely on a global scale), television, smartphones, and
the internet, mostly because of the early invention of electricity! Furthermore,
technology, has impacted and affected our civilization in a huge way! Due to
technology, many societies have created a much more efficient, and productive
economy, not just because of the advanced machinery we have access to today,
but because technology also affects our environment and surroundings.
However, technology sometimes doesnt only have positive effects, in improving
education and society, but instead have negative impacts such as cyberbullying,
or the development of dangerous weapons. Yet, overall, technology is a very
helpful and resourceful tool for people all around the world.
What is Science?
Science is the systematic study of structure and behavior of the physical
and natural world through observation and experiment. In addition, science helps
build and and organize knowledge in testable explanations, hypotheses, theories
and predictions about the universe. Overtime, science and the field of philosophy
has helped scientists, people in similar occupations, and the whole world
discover the answers of nearly impossible questions, and has revealed the truth
and logistics about all living organisms (humans, animals, plants etc.) and how
they function, react, and adapt to certain environments found all around the
Earth. Science has a vast history, and of how it all began, centuries ago, where
we first uncovered the laws of nature, such as Newtons laws of motion, the
layers of the atmosphere and space, natural sciences (including biology life)
social sciences (the study of human behaviors and societies), formal sciences
(mathematics) life science, physical science, and many other branches and fields
of this large topic and study. Overall, science has many aspects and can be
mistaken for technology, however both topics are very different. Take a look at

Whats The Difference?
The difference between science and technology is that, the goal of
science is the pursuit of knowledge for its own sake of discovery and learning,
while technology helps to create products that solve problems and improve
human life. The main mission for the study of science is the search for and
theorizing about a cause, and for technology its the search for new process for
inventions. The methods for evaluation for science is through analysis,
generalization, and creation of hypotheses, whereas for technology the methods/

solution is based off of analysis and synthesis of design. Overall, science is the
study of forces and interactions between different things, that are both animate
and inanimate. However, technology is referred to what us humans manufacture,
but were developed by applying scientific law.
