Adolf Hitler Biography

Adolf Hitler was born on April 20, 1889 at Austria. His early life didn't go smoothly as
he didn't do well in school. In primary school, he have a very good potential of being a
leader, but when he reached secondary school the competition get tougher and as a
result, he gave up. He also have an interest in art and wish to become an artist. In the
first year of highschool, Hitler fail his exams and is required to repeat the year. He
chose to left school without a formal education. He move to Vienna due to
money inherited after the death of his father in 1903, three years after he
dropped out of school. He also seeks to pursue his career in art, which is his
favorite subject and the only subject that he did well in school. He tried to apply
for Vienna Academy of Art and the school of Architecture. He was rejected by
both of the school, as a result, he changed his interest to politics.
By the starting of World War I, he volunteered to fight for the German army and
later gain the rank of corporal and also many more awards such as bravery and
Iron Cross First Class. In October 1918, the final year of WWI, Germany was attacked with
mustard gas causing them to surrender. Hitler was hospitalize that time and are going through
the state of great depression. He was depressed at that time and his future was quite dark. A
year after that, Hitler join a nationalist group that will spy for the German army. However, Hitler
didn't agree of how they organize the party which he step up and gave a passionate speech. He
later has supporters and quickly gain ranks. He then became a Nazi
leader in 1921 which he took only two years after he gave his speech. By
1923, there were 56,000 members and more supporters. He then tried to
attack the Bavarian government to work with the Nazi, but failed. He was
claim for treason and was sentence in jail. After the release, he
reorganized his party.
In 1930, there is a vote for president, but Hitler only came second. Not
long after the election Hitler were able to gain his power due to the death of President
Hindenburg. After leading Germany, he made unemployed workers to work on a massive
rearmament program to prepare for the war. His actions were being ignored by the neighbor
country because they believe appeasement was the only way to avoid a war. He invaded
Rhineland at Versailles. Later he continued to Austria and some part of Czechoslovakia. In
1939, Hitler bring Germany to made an alliance with Russia and Italy which is called the Pact of
Steel. Few months later, he invaded Poland which is the cause of
the starting of the second World War. Hitler conquered most of
the Western Europe now and turning his focus on to the East. He
even invade Russia despite the alliance they made. Which is
considered one of his biggest mistakes. Russian winter weather
kills the army without enough supply. He killed 6 million Jews
which is called the Holocaust. He then committed suicide and
Germanys surrender soon after.
