Fan
Overview

Fan boxes are installed at the bottom and in the middle of

cabinet. Bottom fan box has three fans because BDS produces
more heat. Middle fan box has two fans because RFS cabinet
produces less heat. These fan boxes perform air ventilation and
maintain the cabinet temperature.
Figure 27 shows the structure of middle fan box.

Note: In case of CBTS I2 with CBM configuration there are two

fan boxes in middle fan shelf and one fan box in bottom fan shelf.

Power Supply
Power
Requirements

CBTS cabinet can support 220 VAC or 24/-48 VDC power supply
input.

If power supply is AC, then an additional 220 VAC to -48VDC

converter cabinet is required. ZTE provides 220 VAC to 48VDC converter cabinet (ZXC10 PWSB I2 cabinet).
For additional information about ZXC10 PWSB I2 refer to
Appendix A.

If power supply is 24 VDC, then an additional 24 VDC to 48VDC converter cabinet is required. ZTE provides 24 VDC to
-48VDC converter cabinet (ZXC10 PWSC I2 cabinet).
For additional information about ZXC10 PWSC I2 refer to
Appendix B.

If power supply is -48 VDC, connect directly to the power

interfaces located at the CBTS cabinet top.
