Energy Availability on Electricity

Energy availability is one of the biggest problems of the 21th century.

The situation as I write about this topic will only progress for the better a
technology gets more advance in this world. In this paper I will be discussing
about how electricity is not abundant in poorer countries, how advance
technology can help poorer countries get started with cheap and reliable
electricity source and the outcome if these poorer countries who dont get
electricity in their homes.
Economic of Electricity
Over the years, energy availability of electricity had steadily increasing
due to economic prosperity. Many researchers today suggested that
electricity abundance is increasing due to large market trades and high
capita of goods. According to Casual relationship between Energy
Consumption and Economic growth they investigated and applied a
multivariated models of capital, labor, energy and GDP(Gross Domestic

Product). This will cause demands of resources and utilities to skyrocket. For
example the empirical result for Korea over the period of 1970 -1999
suggested a long run bidirectional causal relationship between demand of
energy/electricity and GDP

( aka Samsung, LG, Nissan, Infiniti etc which

respark the recovery after the Korean war). Thus the lower the GDP is, the
lower the demand for electricity becomes because of prices and if the people
can afford electricity or not.
Another example from a source called The Relationship between
Energy Consumption, Energy prices and Economic Growth: time
series evidence from Asian developing countries suggested a very
interesting quote saying one of the reason for the disparate and often
conflicting empirical findings on the relationship between energy
consumption and economic growth lies in the variety of approaches and
testing procedures employed in analyses of projects. Suggesting that
energy production is the easy part of making electricity, but the problem is if
the machines that makes electricity will be durable enough to last years
upon years without repairing or replacing since these machine will cost a lot
and poorer countries might not be able to replace them later on.
Economic growth is a good thing since people in poorer countries like
Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, African countries and so on, can make their
GDP rise and more jobs availability. They get income for higher demands in

products and goods that require electricity. This can lead to a higher
standard of living in modern homes and better living conditions.
Technology
Technology is the future for mankind. Humans strive to keep improving
on knowledge that we already know to brighten and widen the horizon for
cleaner, faster and easier ways of making energy especially electricity for
poorer less fortunate countries. Currently in this article called electricity
emissions in the United States by center for climate and energy
solution (C2CS) describes that our main way of making energy especially
electricity for people is by burning coal, natural gases and nuclear energy.
These energy resources can make millions upon millions of kilowatts of
electricity for thousands of homes to use, but also releases harmful gases
and wastes into the environments. Clean energy like wind power,
hydropower and other renewable energy only makes 10% of USA electricity
production. If the USA uses harmful energy resources to make power, then
bet on other countries do that also to make power too.
A clean alternative to making clean electricity suggested by C2CS is to
make a steam turbine electricity factory.
Steam Turbine
Coal-fueled electricity is generated almost exclusively by pulverized coal (PC) power plants.
These plants crush coal into a fine powder and then burn it in a boiler to heat water and produce

steam. The steam is then used to spin one or more turbines to generate electricity. Natural gas, oil
or biomass can be used as a fuel in conjunction with steam turbine technology. Similarly, in a
nuclear reactor, fission is used to heat water, which directly or indirectly produces steam to drive
a turbine and generate electricity. Large coal and nuclear steam units on the order of 500 1000
MW or greater are typically used to provide baseload generation, meaning that they supply
electricity nearly continuously.

This allows less coal consumption, little to no wastes and more power
output.
I believe that this new type of energy manufacturing can be made cheaply
for poorer countries in 2nd and 3rd world countries like Southeast Asia and
Africa etc. For a low input of fuel you can get a lot of output.

Electricity deprivations
In this world more than one billion people are still without electricity.
Most of which are in developing countries like Africa, India and Asia. The
World Bank: Energy The facts says that without electricity humans are cut off
from their natural rights of improving living conditions. For example with electricity you can
power all the utensils and cook food to eat. You can preserve food by using a refrigerator and
light houses at night so people can apply for jobs on the computer or do homework.
Without electricity I dont think I can survive for a week. Most modern 1st world
countries like the United States depend too much on technology. If there want any electricity
then all of the world will go back to the primitive Stone Age again and become uncivilized. A lot
of people will not know what to do and people will die off from hunger and other natural
disasters.
Conclusion
Therefore humanity would be more stable if everyone got electricity. People would have
a clean place to eat, a warm place to sleep and overall better living condition. But because of
economic inequality, many of these poorer countries cant provide their citizen with electricity
and power. New technology are arising but need more time to progress and make prices go
lower. Testing these technology takes time and money. When the day everyone in this whole
world gets low cost abundance in electricity to power all the utensils, will be the day when

mankind gets closer to uniting all the people of the world to become a more unified race. The
main goal for abundance in electricity is to reach a higher base knowledge for future generations
to uphold and to advance what we know.
