Town employees helped with organization and to communicate with the community about the event. Board of Education administrators and staff organized a terrific pep rally for GHS students, and both the Guilford High Schoo! Band and Saint Mary's School Fife and Drum Corps provided music for the parade. Our area merchants lent their support as well In addition, | would like to express my deep appreciation to Event Chair Marti Carlson and her team of approximately 100 volunteers. They gave generously of their time, and in just six days organized an event that drew a crowd of thousands to our town. Guilford is a place that exemplifies the spirit of community and volunteerism. that sets us apart from any other town, and we were able to share that with a national audience! We all wish Nick the best of luck in all his future endeavors, and are proud that he considers Guilford his home,
