INTRODUCTION
We are proposing to develop an Indirect Democracy for our constitutional type of government. Like
James Madison once said, "The effect of [a representative democracy is] to refine and enlarge the public
views, by passing them through the medium of a chosen body of citizens, whose wisdom may best
discern the true interest of the nation...." In order to actually put our teams idea for a new constitution
into writing we will complete an outline with due dates to help us maintain responsibilities amongst
each other. With our unique perceptions of government, we will each contribute ideas that will best suit
our constitution.

CONSTITUTION WRITING TASKS OVERVIEW

As a team we have outlined the writings of our proposed constitution and here we are providing
a brief summary on how we plan to accomplish our tasks for our government project.
Preamble
Our preamble will relate to the United States preamble because we strongly agree that the people
play an important role in our indirect democracy. Even though, we believe our preamble will be
more accurate for a better type of government.
Legislative Branch
We believe the United States Congress has been successful with their political structure. In our
government we will also have a House of Representatives and a Senate but with a different
voting system.
Executive Branch
Our Executive Branch will be almost the same way it is now. The difference will be, the
president will be allowed to serve 3 years and may be re-elected for only three terms.
Judicial Branch
The Judicial Branch purpose is to review and interpret any laws that may arise.
Education System
Our Education System will be stricter in hopes to raise the intelligence of everyone and so that
we may have more political involvement of the people to their country.
Military Branches
[Provide a brief description of your proposed Military Branches. You do not need go into
specifics of structure, function or qualifications here, but summarize, as you did in the previous
sections above, the ideas you have for the key Branches and organization of the Military.]
Healthcare System
Our Healthcare System will be a must have no matter their status: Race, age, immigration status,
or illness. And will set up a less price for insurance. This may change, as we get more in to it and
have more researched knowledge.

The Tycoons

Immigration System
Our Immigration System will be benefiting all. Although, we plan to protect our borders in a
more strictly matter.
Relationships Among: Federal, State and Local Levels
We believe that each government should keep an individual power.
Process of Amending the Constitution
[Provide a brief description of how your government might accomplish this. What is the process?
Who and by what margins/percentages must approve any amendments?]
Amendments/Bill of Rights
Our amendments and bill of rights will be to protect and serve the people of the country which
will best keep them safe and have freedom.
Other Writing Tasks
[Finally, address any other writing tasks you have for this project. You only need a brief
statement of your teams plans for the layout and design of the Constitution and any other tasks
associated with its preparation or the PowerPoint Presentation.]

TEAM PROJECT MANAGEMENT

In order to ensure a thorough and well-written constitution, the next section of the proposal will
address how we manage to divide the work and promote accountability for our government.
Team Roles and Responsibilities
[Start by mentioning the number of students in your group and that the subsections below
address the specific roles that each team member will take during the project. The subsections
should be formatted so that each students name forms a subheading, as follows]
First Student Name: [Then describe here what role your team member will take in the project.
The best descriptions describe why the team member was assigned/given this role, which is
usually based on the students skills and/or the results of the MyPlan Personality test. Also
mention that the student has been assigned several tasks regarding the writing of the
Constitutionyou dont have to list them here, but do refer to the Task Responsibilities Table,
such as See Table 1 for a detailed list of this team members writing responsibilities.]
Second Student Name: [Then describe here what role your team member will take in the project.

Team Rules and Regulations
[The last section should begin with a statement addressing how your team has decided to govern
itself. Every group has a different style, from very formal to informal, from very democratic to
very dictatorial. The most important things in a student group project are promoting good
communications with each other and accountability along with ensuring that everyone has a
chance to participate and no one takes over the project without the consent of the others. What
rules or regulations has your team developed to ensure that you are promoting good
communication, accountability (i.e., taking responsibility for doing the work assigned and
meeting deadlines), and that every student participates and has access to all team documents?
Regarding accountability, refer ONCE AGAIN to Table 1 (see below) and those task deadlines
that everyone agreed to!!!]
