To Whom It May Concern,

I met Jason Talactac during the 2014 to 2015 academic year, when he enrolled in my
Yearbook and Photography 2 class at Merced High School. Jason has demonstrated the ability to
quickly understand and apply the concepts being taught in both of these classes. He gladly takes on
any challenge and accomplishes the tasks assigned to him to the best of his ability. He has been
extremely dedicated to the success of this yearbook and has also contributed greatly to the sales of the
yearbook.

Not only is Jason an exceptionally a hardworking student, but he has also challenged himself
with extracurricular activities. Jason has challenged himself with new extracurricular activities and
always strives for excellence when doing so. For example, upon joining our schools Journalism Club,
Jason immediately took on the roles of contributing to the Merced High School paper as both a
photographer and writer. He has been a regular participant at Journalism Club meetings, and has
devoted himself to ensuring the club functions efficiently. Jason was also a member of the Interact
Club, Key Club, and was a Mentor during his senior year. Through these activities, he has learned great
teamwork skills and this has been reflective while observing him work in a group setting. He is able to
express concepts clearly and consider others ideas.

Jason shows great work ethic in everything he does, participates in extracurricular activities and
demonstrates wonderful character. He is a very creative, hardworking, and outgoing individual. I am
certain that he has the skills and fortitude to achieve his goals and go far in life. Please let me know if I
can provide any further information.
