6.1 Reactivation Heat Energy Control 6.1.1 The Reactivation Electric Heater Solid State Relays accepts a 0-10V modulating signal from the logic controller to control Reactivation Outlet air temperature, as sensed by the reactivation air outlet temperature transmitter (TC02), at its predetermined set point (Set point = 120F). 6.1.2 If the Reactivation Inlet (Heated-to) temperature reaches or exceeds 325F, as sensed by the Reactivation Inlet temperature transmitter (TC01), the logic controller switches the control over to the Heated-to temperature of a predetermined set point (Cutout = 325F / Cut-in = 310F) until the Reactivation Outlet Temperature reaches above 110F. After meeting this condition the logic controller will resume controlling the solid state relays for adequate heat modulation. 6.2 Process Air Dehumidification Control (Customer-supplied) 6.2.1 The system dehumidification capacity is controlled by modulating face and bypass damper actuator (DA03) at the desiccant wheel inlet. The customer-supplied controls send a 0-10Vdc analog control signal to the Face & Bypass Damper actuator(s). As the moisture level rises above the set point, the customer-supplied controls shall increase the signal to the face & bypass damper actuator(s). The process face damper modulates open, and the bypass damper modulates closed in response to an increasing output signal from the logic controller. This allows a greater volume of process air to pass through the desiccant wheel, and lesser volume to be bypassed. As the face damper begins to open, limit switch (ZS03) is opened, which energizes the desiccant wheel drive, reactivation fan, and the reactivation heater. When room air humidity drops below the set point, the sequence is followed, conversely. 6.3 Dehumidification Face & Bypass Interlock 6.3.1 Position switch (ZS03) is located inside the face and bypass damper compartment within the process face damper actuator, and is furnished to interlock the dehumidification control when the proportional control loop is activated. 6.3.2 Position switch (ZS03) is provided with the face damper. As the face damper begins to open, limit switch (ZS03) is opened thereby signaling the main processor of the logic controller to initiate the dehumidifier startup sequence, and enabling the reactivation energy controls.
