Attendance (Sign-in sheet):

Safety:
o The Ohio State University Campus is Tobacco Free - including E-Cigarettes.
o Submit any updated Material Safety data Sheets (MSDS's).
o Any accident, injury, or near miss must be reported to AE immediately, in
case of emergency: Call University Police at 614-292-2121, or 911.
o Public Protection- protect all open excavations and ensure public safety.
o IGEL is responsible for safety and ensuring that all workers are following
safety procedures.
o Make sure sump pump is active with current rain fall.
o Asbestos containing material on the Postle Hall steam feed was damaged and
is being repaired. Per the documents: all active steam lines must be
encapsulated and protected by a wooden shroud.
o Contractor discovered an existing void under 12th Avenue and filled with CDF.
Will investigate further when this area is excavated for tunnel repair.
o AE observed a contractor standing on an active steam pipe during wall
removal, Contractors were instructed not to stand on these pipes.

Traffic Control:
o Maintain access to Postle Hall loading dock and dumpsters AT ALL TIMES.
o Contractor must have all maintenance of traffic (MOT) plans reviewed by TTM
prior to implementation.
o Contractor must complete a Traffic Officer request form a minimum of 72
hours prior to any MOT requiring Traffic Officer(s).
o Next switch will be on April 13.

Campus Communication / Project Coordination

o John Herrick Bridge Project - No work scheduled that will impact John Herrick
Drive.
o OSU TriFit challenge will have runners going down John Herrick Drive and
using the sidewalk on the west side of the laydown area on July 26, 2015
o Student move in is August 20 and 22.
o JDRF walk is October 4.
o OSU 4-Miler is October 25.

Proposal Request (PR) 025 - Jennings Tunnel Leak

Proposal Request (PR) 026 - Void Under 12th Ave

Contractor submitted pricing to fill an existing void under 12th Ave, AE

to review.

RFI Status: None

Submittal Status:

o Existing 12th Avenue vault Mezzanine framing

Quality Control:
o QA/QC - Field Issues / Concerns

Contractor cut into Jennings drywall to install electrical conduit without

permission. AE shall perform bulk sampling of the material. - No
asbestos was detected and results sent to Owner and Contractor
2/23/15. Contractor to restore area to original condition. - IGEL to
provide date for repair.

OCIO cable rack conflict with gas line, contractor to install typical
manhole cable support and turn cable rack over to OCIO for future
installation when conflicting gas line is removed. - Contractor waiting
on material.

Electrical conduit is protruding from the Jennings tunnel into the main
tunnel, Contractor to correct. - AE to send sketch.

Status of Material on site

o Any stored materials that needs to be reviewed by AE prior to pay application
(pencil copy)

Open Items / General Discussion:

o REMINDER - all outage requests (or valve closure) must be submitted 14 days
in advance.

List of all future outages or utility impacts, in table form, showing:

utility, buildings impacted, date, duration, etc. The reroute of
Jennings gas line and waterline needs added to list.

Utilities is proposing to take the steam line down from Neil to B&Z
vault, which will cause an outage to Jennings and Arnoff, Kirk Williams
will verify durations needed. Kevin will coordinate with Jennings to
Arnoff for outage duration. Vault 17 must be set first to perform this
outage. - 6 weeks is okay, Pat
to add to schedule. - Kirk Williams
to send to dates to IGEL. They plan on starting work on 7/13 and
ending work on 8/18.
o Weekly review of AS-BUILTS
o Contractor shall track the use of TTM for MOT, Cc Steve for all requests for
TTM. Allowance Use Authorization form has been submitted to track these
charges. Contractor must submit prior to work for approval.
o Contractor to submit weather delays. Contractor will send out email,
"Weather Day - Note to File" - Kevin added cells within the email to be filled
out.
o What is the status of the trees - AE reviewed PR with subcontractor
(Greenscape) and they will see if the non-performed trees can be recalled
before they are dug.
o Erosion control sheets need to be kept on site. - these sheets are hanging on
the wall of the trailer.
o Is the Contractor waiting for anything from the A/E or Owner?
