Registered Nurse(RN)

Registered nurses perform many duties including helping patients with

basic health care needs such as nutrition, vaccinations, education,
administering medications as well maintaining the proper weight.
Registered nurses are often the first medical professionals people turn to
when they have what appears to be a minor health problem.

The Three Primary Academic Routes

1. Bachelor's of science degree in nursing
(BSN) at a college or university and it takes
up to 4 years.
2. Associate's degree in nursing(ADN)
community or junior college and it takes up 2 to
3 years.
3. Nursing diploma from an accredited nursing
program offered by hospitals and takes about
three years.

excellent communication.

Average minimum/ maximum

The beginning wage for a RN will be around
65 thousand.
The maximum salary a RN can expect is
50%.

A typical work day

Monitoring the vital signs such as
temperature, heartbeat, and motor signs of
every patient within her care.
Also an RN makes sure that the patients are
taking the right medication and dosage; as a
result, he/she report it back to the doctor to
see if progress has changed.
If necessary a RN may also administers
shots, takes blood, and urine samples for
diagnostic test.
