bearing 095 by compass. Using Amplitude Tables find the True Amplitude, True
Bearing of the Sun and the Deviation of the Compass if Variation was 11 W.
Also calculate the SMT of Sun Rise if the vessel was keeping GMT + 11:00 hrs.

Q.2) On July/24th/2000 in D.R: Lat 30 09.0N Long 165 34.0W, find the times (GMT,
LMT, SMT) of the Upper Transit of the star Deneb and the setting to put on the sextant
for its observation, if I.E was 1.7 off the arc, HE 20.6m and the vessel was keeping
GMT - 11:00 hrs.

Q.3) On March/23rd/2000 at about 16:15 hrs at ship in D.R: Lat 56 15.0N Long 40 10.0W,
the sextant altitude of Suns U.L was 16 40.0. Find the direction of the P/L and a position
thro which it passes if I.E was 2.3 off the arc, HE 19.9m and Chron showed 06h 55m 25s
being 35s slow on GMT.
