Greenpeace

The problems of environmental solution seem to be one of the most important ones nowadays.
Nature in every country of the world suffers from mans influence.
Peoples future is in a serious danger.
But there are people who make nature protection the matter of their life.
These people are united in international ecological organization named Greenpeace, which
deals with ecological and environmental problems.
Greenpeace was founded in 1971 in Amsterdam by a small group of activists in an old fishing
boat, to protest the proliferation of nuclear testing.
Nowadays it works in 41 countries. The main purpose of Greenpeace is to solve global
ecological problems and attract public attention to them.
It campaigns to stop climate change, save the oceans, stop whaling, say no to genetic
engineering, stop the nuclear threat, eliminate toxic chemicals.

Greenpeace tries to visit the places of ecological crime and present objective and trustworthy
information.
Greenpeace is a non-profit organization and nongovernmental. It is financed by personal
voluntary donations of its supporters.
All people of the world can take part of this organization, you just need to enroll in it branch in
your city.
As for me, I'd like to join Greenpeace organization. I am extremely concerned in ecological
problems in our country, especially in our region. It is very important what water we drink, what
food we eat. Besides, it is the place where I live. We must save our land for future generations.
