Miss. Corriveau
Satisfactory (3-4)
The video can be followed with
some ease. The object to graph is a
little difficult to determine. The
graphing story is within the time
frame however half speed is
needed.
The graph is similar to the
movement of the object.
Measurements have been taken into
consideration.
The graph is missing two to five of
the following components: title,
labeled axis, axis scale, domain,
range, and intercepts.
Both equations for the rate of
change sections on the graph or
present. The equations have several
errors. Range value has been
calculated.
Great (5-6)
The video is easy to follow. The
object to graph is clearly
identified. The video is at a pace
that allows the class to accurately
sketch the graph.
You are to create a graphing stories video. The graphing story should be no more than 30
seconds, however the video may be longer in order to show the story at a slower pace. You must be
able to create a graph based on your video. This project can be done in pairs or individually. If you
decide to do the project in pairs then you will be required to hand in a peer evaluation separately from
your partner. You will present your video to the class and they will attempt to graph your situation.
Along with the video you will be required to hand in; your graph solution, the domain and range of
your graph, the domain and/or range intercepts, and the equations of two different rate of change
locations of your graph. As well, you must use one of your rate of change equations to determine a

range value given a domain value that Miss. Corriveau will give you. All the information can be put
into your video if you like or on a neatly written paper.
