I will improve my communication skills with the learners by using good strategies, during year 4 semester

I chose this goal because I want:


To encourage the development of student independence and responsibility.
To pick up verbal and non-verbal clues, E.g: body language, speech, facial
expression, affect, checks out and acknowledges as appropriate.
To encourage students expression of feeling and thoughts through the lesson.
I believe that effective body language is the most powerful communication skill that
teacher hold it which supported by verbal skills (Communication Skill for Teachers,
2013).
I believe that eye contact is associate with trust, good feeling and let students to look
at you, also the smiling makes communication easier with the learners (Linsin, 2009).

Planning: I will develop the planning skills of communication with the learners.

To develop my implementing and managing learning.


To build relationship through interaction with the students.
Use appropriate body language, eye contact, gestures, voice to effect
classroom presence.
To develop my professional and planning skills.
To develop the non-verbal communication such as my body language, eye contact,
gestures and voice, smiling to maintain an effective classroom presence.
To develop my personal and professional of empathy skills with the learners will
allow me to understand the needs of students while working on assessments and how
to motivate them through the lesson.

Be pleasant and smile for the students to increase communication skills with them,
but sometimes be firm with them through the lesson.
Use eye contact with the students shows that I am interested in what they have to say
and use body language.
Use the students name and speak in a calm manner.
Use questions to involve the student and monitor understanding, include examples
from the students experience. (while working on assessments)
Use a positive relationship with the students (respect, courtesy, friendship).
Initiating and directing student responses.
Share information, or answers with the students as whole class.
Show students an examples of doing the activity by taking out one student. (if the
activity is speaking, or listening or reading)
Objects / materials (show students and explain to them)
Activities (respond to the students questions and walk around them)
